Hannah and BJ (Bart-Jan) welcome you to Woodside B&B in Keswick. Located in the heart of Cumbria’s breathtaking landscapes, our Victorian home has been thoughtfully transformed into a welcoming guest house offering comfortable bed and breakfast accommodation. Set over three floors, Woodside has four spacious en-suite bedrooms designed for a relaxed and enjoyable stay.

Our heating and hot water is powered by an Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP), keeping your room perfectly snug and your hot showers ready after a long day of sightseeing or fell walking. By choosing clean, renewable energy, we drastically reduce our carbon footprint, in keeping with our location in this beautiful part of the UK.

We moved here in 2022 to escape city life and enjoy the space, scenery, and outdoor adventures of the Lake District National Park. We love sharing our home with guests and hope you will join us for a well deserved break.

Woodside B&B is ideally located for walking into Keswick town centre along a traffic-free former railway line. For guests looking for Keswick accommodation with parking, we have a free private car park at the rear of the property, and we also offer EV charging and secure bicycle storage.

Lake District weather can be changeable, and if you are caught out by the rain there is a warm drying room for wet gear. On brighter days, our large garden offers a peaceful place to sit and relax.

Our Rooms

Woodside B&B offers stylish and comfortable en-suite accommodation. All rooms include a seating area, TV, free WiFi, tea and coffee making facilities, a hairdryer, and USB charging points.

Triple room

A bright and spacious room on the first floor with a double bed and a single bed, sleeping up to three guests. This en-suite room can also be booked alongside a double room for families of four or five.

Double rooms

Two comfortable en-suite double rooms with garden views, one on the first floor and one on the second floor, offering a calm and relaxing place to unwind.

Twin room

An en-suite twin room on the second floor with two single beds, ideal for guests who prefer separate beds and a good option when booked alongside a double for families of three or four.

Delicious Breakfast

Breakfast is served from 8am to 9am in our bright and welcoming dining room.

We offer a varied menu including a full Lakes breakfast or vegetarian option, smoked salmon with eggs, and shakshuka. We also cater for vegan and gluten free diets. If you have any dietary requirements, please let us know when booking so we can prepare in advance.

Start your morning with homemade granola or cereal, followed by a freshly prepared breakfast. Wherever possible, we use locally sourced ingredients. Tea, coffee, juice, and plenty of toast are always available.

Key Information

Children aged 6 and up are welcome. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate pets. Our car park is at the rear of the property and we have an EV charger so you can charge your electric car while you’re staying with us. We offer a self check-in process to allow you to arrive at a time to suit you.
