Hannah and BJ (Bart-Jan) welcome you to Woodside B&B in Keswick. Our lovely Victorian property has been transformed into a welcoming guesthouse offering bed and breakfast accommodation. Spread over three floors, there are four spacious and comfortable ensuite rooms.
We moved here in 2022 to escape city life and enjoy the space, stunning scenery and outdoors adventures offered by the Lake District National Park. We love sharing our haven with our guests and hope you will join us for a well-deserved break.
Woodside B&B is in a superb location for wandering into Keswick following the River Greta or along the traffic-free disused railway line. If you are looking for Keswick accommodation with parking, our free private car park at the back of the house offers a perfect solution. Bicycles can be stored securely as well in our enclosed bike store.
The Lake District weather is known for being very changeable, and if you get caught out in Cumbria’s famous rain, there is a warm drying room for wet gear. During sunnier days, our large garden is a lovely peaceful place to sit and relax.

This is a bright and spacious room on the first floor, with a double bed and a single bed. It could be booked with a double room for a family of four or five.

Lovely ensuite rooms, one on the first floor and one on the second floor, each with a double bed and garden views.
Our twin room
Twin room that sleeps 1 or 2 people
Ideal for guests not wanting to share a double bed, our ensuite twin room is on the second floor. Perfect booked together with a double for a family of three or four.
Delicious Breakfast
Breakfast is served from 8am to 9am in our lovely bright dining room.
We offer a varied menu with a range of choices including a full Lakes breakfast or vegetarian version, delicious smoked salmon with eggs, and we are perhaps the only B&B in Keswick serving shakshuka! We can also cater for vegans with a range of choices. If you have other dietary requirements, such a gluten intolerance, please just let us know when booking so we can get what is needed for you in advance.
Start with homemade granola or a bowl of cereal, followed by a freshly prepared breakfast. Wherever possible, we offer locally-sourced and homemade products. Coffee, tea of your choice and juice is available, along with as much toast as you would like!
